The journey begins with capturing the essence of the original artwork. Using the latest technology, we photograph or scan every detail of the painting with care. While RAW files are an industry standard, we’ve found that high-quality JPEGs taken with a Iphone 14 Pro Max, photographed outside, deliver exceptional results, especially when combined with our refined workflow.
The result? A digital version of the artwork that faithfully reflects the textures, colors, and emotions of the original piece—ready to be brought to life as a print.

Perfecting Colors: The Heart of Luxury Prints
Color Calibration for True Accuracy
Using tools like Spyder ensures our monitors display colors accurately, providing a trustworthy canvas for digital adjustments.
Soft Proofing: Previewing Print Accuracy
In Photoshop, we use soft proofing to preview how colors will translate to CMYK for print. This helps us address potential shifts in tones, particularly in challenging areas like deep blues or rich reds.
Balancing for Both Digital and Print
First, we adjust the image in sRGB for digital use—mockups, social media, and web display. Then, we refine it for CMYK, ensuring vibrant yet realistic results in print.

If an original artwork is photographed at a resolution of 3000 x 3000 pixels, it may look fine for a smaller print. However, for a large-format print (e.g., 100 x 100 cm at 300 DPI), you’d need at least 11,811 x 11,811 pixels. Gigapixel AI bridges this gap by intelligently generating the necessary additional pixels while preserving detail.
